Description

FOR SALE – 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI.

The Giulia TI (Turismo Internazionale) was powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four engine producing around 92 horsepower, which was impressive for a compact sedan of its era. It featured dual overhead camshafts (DOHC), a hallmark of Alfa Romeo engines, allowing it to rev higher and deliver a sportier driving experience than most of its contemporaries.

Despite its boxy appearance, the Giulia had one of the best aerodynamic drag coefficients (Cd) of its time. Alfa Romeo’s engineers focused on making the car more efficient at higher speeds, which contributed to its performance on the road and the track. The Giulia’s shape may seem simple by today’s standards, but it was incredibly aerodynamic for the 1960s.

The Giulia TI was also a showcase of Alfa Romeo’s forward-thinking engineering: it featured a 5-speed manual transmission at a time when most competitors were offering 3 or 4 speeds. The car also had independent front suspension and disc brakes, which were considered advanced technologies in the mid-1960s.

Finished in Sky Blue over Burgundy leather, this fully restored Giulia TI is now on offer through our consignment program.
