Description
FOR SALE – 1992 Mazda Familia 323 GT-R 210 Interplay registered in 2020.
This single-owner 1992 Mazda Familia 323 GT-R 210 Interplay is a rare gem from the early ’90s, designed as a performance-oriented hatchback with rally-inspired engineering. At its core, the 323 GT-R was built as a homologation special (2,500 units) for Mazda’s rallying efforts, allowing the company to compete in the World Rally Championship (WRC).
Beyond the powerful engine and 4WD, the GT-R was equipped with driving dynamics-enhancing components including a stronger gearbox, reinforced suspension, and uprated brakes. Mazda also paid special attention to aerodynamics, with subtle changes to the exterior to improve high-speed stability and airflow – important factors for a car that was intended to excel on both rally stages and public roads.
Over time, the 323 GT-R has gained a cult following. It may not have the immediate name recognition of some of its rivals, but those in the know regard it as one of the ultimate expressions of Mazda’s rallying ambitions.
Finished in 4Z Grey over Black Alcantara with Red contrast stitching, this 323 GT-R with an extensive list of modifications is now on offer through our consignment program.
This 323 GT-R dynoed 318HP at GT Auto Sunway, and can easily go up to 450HP with an Evo gearbox conversion. All original parts are available and will be given to the future owner, including additional clutch, clear signals, head etc.
