This Type S represents the final iteration of Honda’s iconic roadster before production ended in 2009, with just 1,755 examples produced between 2008 and 2009, all exclusively for the Japanese domestic market.

This variant received several upgrades similar to the U.S. market's Club Racer edition, including a 41kg weight reduction and a special body kit that delivers significantly higher downforce through a front lip spoiler and rear decklid spoiler.

A key factor in what makes the S2000 Type S such a thrilling drive is its six-speed manual transmission, widely regarded as one of the best of its era.
